Bristol Park Department issues report of summer activities and participation.

The Bristol Park Department recently issued a report of all the activities, classes, entertainment, and community service the department was able to offer this past summer. The numbers are impressive.

Some of the highlights include the following:

  1. The use of the Page and Rockwell pools was extensive, with well over 6,000 patrons at the two pools.
  2. Almost 2,000 youngsters attended summer camps.
  3. 86 different groups were granted permits to use the sports fields in Bristol.
  4. The Rockwell Park Concert Series drew large crowds every week, with an estimated total of 4,200 concert-goers.
  5. The department served many people in need of help, as evidenced by the graphic below.
  6. 13 COVID vaccine clinics were offered during the summer months
