Farmers to Families food distribution set Friday, Aug. 7, across from City Hall

The next Farmers to Families food distribution will be this Friday, Aug. 7 from noon to 2 p.m. in the parking lot across from City Hall.

Participants are being asked to to enter the parking lot on North Main St., drive to one of food stations, where a volunteer will load a food box in the back seat or the trunk of the vehicle, and exit onto Hope St.

The food distribution program is sponsored by the Mayor’s Office and the United Way. The program underwritten by the United States Department of Agriculture.
