Darlene Theriault, 80

Darlene (Violette) Theriault, 80, of Bristol, widow of Maurice “Moe” Theriault, died on Sunday, Sept. 4, at home. Darlene was born in Caribou, Maine, on Feb. 28, 1942, and was a daughter of the late Fidele and Oveline (Nadeau) Violette. She was raised and lived in Caribou where she graduated from Caribou High School. 

After her marriage to Moe, they moved to New Britain to live before settling in Bristol. She worked for Fletcher-Terry Company in Farmington. In her younger years she enjoyed genealogy, bowling, and golfing. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and caring for them as they were growing up. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Ann Church. 

Darlene is survived by two daughters: Darcy Bentivengo and husband, Mark and Rhonda Radcliff and husband, Troy, all of Bristol; a sister: Bernice Ouellette of Bristol; grandchildren: Gina Bentivengo and Patrick Huntley, Bryan Bentivengo, Connor Radcliff, Dario Savino, and Randy Roy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings: Ronald Violette and Elizabeth Lister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 215 West St, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. Please visit Darlene’s memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
