This is a pilot program with limited funds. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Grant Details and Eligibility:
 Awards are limited to a maximum of $10,000 per company
 There is no minimum or maximum company size requirements
 Manufacturers from startups to long-standing enterprises are eligible

CONNSTEP and similar organizations provide a variety of consulting services to help improve manufacturing operations by working with them to:
 Obtain ISO and other certifications
 Meet federal cybersecurity mandates
 Customize facility layouts to increase efficiency
 Enhance business development efforts and much more

“We recognized the fact that Bristol manufacturers want to grow, but may require assistance in doing so. The City of Bristol created this program to help them achieve this,” stated Justin Malley, Executive Director of Economic & Community Development. “Bristol manufacturing
companies are encouraged to apply for these grant funds and if there is enough interest the program may be expanded.”

Bristol Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu stated, “Many of Bristol’s business incentive programs are reserved for manufacturers undertaking major expansions or for new construction projects. There are many great manufacturing companies in Bristol that may not be planning major building projects but, nonetheless, are employing local residents, producing wonderful products, and looking to grow. This program is an opportunity to assist businesses looking to improve operations, which will keep them
profitable and growing in Bristol.”
