Bristol sites among those offering free admission Saturday, June 11

Four Bristol attractions will be free to the public this Saturday, June 11, on Connecticut Open House Day. Over 200 tourist attractions will be free to the public across the state for the 18th open house day celebration.

American Clock & Watch Museum, Bristol

The American Clock & Watch Museum will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., free and open to the public, with guides available to answer questions and activities for young and old.

The Carousel Museum, Bristol

The Carousel Museum will be offering free admission, carousel rides, and art activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bristol Historical Society, Bristol

The Bristol Historical Society features relating to Bristol history, a typical general store, textile exhibits, and on CT Open House Day, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., exhibits highlighting Bristol schools and honoring Loretta Teevan, a former teacher at Bristol Central High School.

Harry C. Barnes Nature Center, Bristol

See live reptiles, amphibians, insects, and birds of prey on Saturday, June from 12 noon to 4 p.m.  Enjoy hiking trails and a gift shop.
