Pauline Cazzetta, 91

Pauline Monica Cazzetta, 91, of Bristol, Conn., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 4, 1931, in Orleans, Vt., daughter of the late George and Marie-Ange (Scalabrini) Raboin.

Pauline attended and graduated from Spalding High School in Barre, Vt., prior to moving to New Britain, Conn., in 1951.

Pauline was the loving wife of John Cazzetta for 68 years. She worked for the Bristol school system as a health aide for many years. Later, she received her certificate in theology and served as director of religious education for St. Matthew Church for 12 years. Pauline was a member of St. Matthew Church for over 60 years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Besides her husband, John, Pauline is survived by her children Peter Cazzetta and his wife Sherry of Bristol, Marie McQueeney and her husband Paul of Bristol, John Cazzetta of Killington, Vt., Monica Cazzetta of New Hartford; grandchildren Kara, Michael, Leah & Ethan McQueeney, Heather Schibi, Sean Toussaint; two great-grandchildren; Siblings Georgette Belisle of Barre City, Vt., Jeanine and Paul Dunham of Graniteville, Vt., Carmen and Norman Chaloux of Washington, Vt., Mariette Beede of Chelsea, Vt., Michael and Bonnie Raboin of Orange, Vt.; Sister-in-laws Marie Raboin, Shirley Raboin, Genevieve (Cazzetta) Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by four brothers, Paul Raboin, Ronald Raboin, George Raboin and Andre Raboin and one sister Angele M. Moreau.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Aug. 26, at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A funeral will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, Augu. 27, starting at 9 a.m. until a procession that will leave for St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St, Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
