Diversity Council to discuss next topic in panel series, next steps for the development of its youth coalition

The next topic for its panel series, the direction that the youth coalition will take and upcoming events will be on the agenda of the Bristol Diversity Council at its regular monthly meeting this evening, according to chair Jaymie Bianca.

The meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Meeting Room 3 at the Bristol Public Library is also available virtually via Zoom. Public participation begins at 6:40 p.m.

The panel series has included discussions with people of color during Black History Month about their experiences in the city and areas of improvement and also members of the LGBTQ+ community held during Pride Month to promote awareness and celebrate diversity.

The council also has formed a youth coalition to engage young people and encourage them to voice their concerns about diversity in the city.

The meeting can be accessed via Zoom at this link: https://bristolct-gov.zoom.us/j/82946776934?pwd=cEVOUnVJaExGQlF3WFhHak1JZUJ3dz09.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
