BC lady swimmers leave BE in their wake, 110-74

The Bristol Central girls swim team defeated Bristol Eastern Tuesday afternoon 110-74. The Rams won 11 out of the 12 events against their cross town rivals in the pool. 

Central had 15 season best times with 12 swimmers achieving their personal best times! The following swimmers all won their races for Bristol Central:

Nyomi Cordero, Isabella Cordero, Madison Pikiell and Katelyn Holleran took first in the 200 Medley Relay. 

Pikiell took first in the 200 free. N. Cordero won the 200 IM and the 100 breast. K. Holleran won the 50 and 100 free. Alayna Lawson won the 500 free. I. Cordero was first in the 100 back, and M.Pikiell, Rayiah Reinhard, I. Codero, and K. Holleran took first in the 400 free relay. 

Personal best times were achieved by the following BC swimmers:

Rayiah Reinhard in diving and 200IM. Isabel Paolino in the 200IM. Katelyn Holleran, Janelly Luis-Fuentes and Gabriel Jimenez-Ramos in the 50 free. Madison Pikiell and Madison Field in the 100 fly. Janelly Luis-Fuentes in the 100 free. Alayna Lawson in the 500 free. Alexis Perez and Emely Sosa in the 100 back. Madison Field in the 100 breast. 

The Eastern divers had a good night, as McKenzie Aparo came in first, Alexia Newman (second), and Alison Sullivan (third), as the Lancers swept the event.

The Lancers also had 13 swimmers achieve personal bests. Megan Ayotte, Erin Moderacki, and Mia Michaud achieved personal bests in the 100 back. Kaila Bermejo reached her best in the 50 free. And all the Lancer 200 relay teams got their best times in the race.

Next up for the teams are the CCC Championships on Friday, 11/5.
