Good morning, Bristol!

“Staff” is under the weather this morning, so his second cousin, “Stuff” is handling this morning’s greetings.

Where to start?

Rumor has it they are digging a big hole at Centre Square. Supposedly, the plan is to fill the hole with the bodies of all politicians who promised to get something done there over the years.

Shamrock Run

The Shamrock Run is scheduled to go off on March 18. “Stuff” has been training hard for the big day. So far, he is up to a 150-yard stroll, followed by a six-yard sprint to the refrigerator. His confidence is sky high, as is his belt size.

Project city

“Stuff” is wondering how many of projects underway in the city were started by a previous administration?

  • Wheeler Clinic- check
  • Carrier Apartments on Main St.- check
  • Memorial Boulevard Arts Magnet School- check
  • Memorial Blvd. Theatre- check
  • Bingham and O’Connel apartments- check
  • Sessions project- check
  • West St./Park St. intersection work- check
  • Kind Care Assisted Living- check
  • City Hall renovations- check
  • Downtown Parking garage- check
  • Hilton HOME2 and Conference Center – check

Wow, that’s a lot of photo ops!

“Stuff” is sure new projects are being planned. He anxiously awaits the big announcements.

So far

So far, the Red Sox are undefeated in Spring Training. Reserve your spot now for the big Duckboat parade in November!

Enough

Enough “stuff.” Have a beautiful day, Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
