Central boys soccer defeats Eastern in season finale

Bristol Central beat Bristol Eastern, 3-2, behind Carson Rivoira’s 2 goals and Umar Malick’s late score with 12 minutes left in the game.

Rivoira scored on a chip shot from the endline at 4:00 of the first half and at 8:40 converted a penalty kick.

Eastern answered both goals as Connor Policarpio knocked home a Dom Femiak pass at 5:00 and Ty Borry scored off a Liam Sanchez-Barreto cross nineteen minutes into the second half.

However, Malick scored the game-winner out of a crowd in front of the Eastern goal.

For eight Lancer seniors it was their last game: Nate Diloreto, Martin Wuesthoff, Elijah Parent, Luke Hammer, Andrew Lozier, Brandon Greger, Gabe Johnson, and Joe Verardi.

Matt Beaucar had 6 saves for the Rams and Peyton Cummings made 7 saves for Bristol Eastern.
