Eversource tracks impending storm

As of 2 p.m. on Friday, the Eversource website tracking tropical storm Henri’s path to New England this Sunday reported that hazardous winds will develop around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning with gusts up to 65 m.p.h. in southeast Connecticut and 40-55 m.p.h. in other portions of the state.

Barnes field drying out after flooding

Harry C. Barnes Field off Mix St. flooded earlier in the week. The flood waters were accompanied by loads of mosquitoes and some unpleasant odors.
