Bristol Eastern volleyball team runs record to 3-1 with straight set sweep of Manchester on Monday

Volleyball

The Bristol Eastern girls proved to be rude hosts to the visiting team from Manchester on Monday, making quick work of the afternoon with a 25-16, 25-19, 25-23 sweep.

The Lancers dominated the first set with solid defense and well-placed shots.

The second set was closer, but Eastern still held the upper hand for a six point victory.

Manchester would not leave without a fight, however, and the third set was a back and forth tussle ultimately pulled out by the Lancers.

Harper Dauphinee had two kills and two aces with one dig for Eastern. Samara Paranzino added three kills, three aces and two digs, while Katie Beaulieu chipped in with four digs.

Bristol Eastern improved to 3-1 for the season. The Lancers visit CCC powerhouse and defending State Champion RHAM Wednesday for a 6:00 battle.
