Shooting last evening was targeted attack, juvenile victim treated for non-life-threating injuries

An investigation of a shooting around 10:20 p.m. last evening in Bristol has bee identified as a targeted attack, according to a release from the Bristol Police Dept.

Police were notified that the gunshot victim had been dropped at a local hospital, where they found that the juvenile victim was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Several crime scenes were identified and processed for evidence.

The case is being handled by the Bristol Police Department’s Detective Division. Anyone with information related to this shooting is asked to call the department at (860)584-3011.
