Good morning, Bristol!

All hands on deck, it’s Friday.

Weather

High 80s and sunny. Seriously.

Listen to the music

Thursday, the GMB staff was grooving on, “Stuck in the Middle with You” by Stealers Wheel. Written by Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan, it reached No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard charts in 1973. Steelers Wheel broke up in 1975 and Gerry Rafferty would later be known for “Bakers Street” and “Right Down the Line.” Egan left the music business in 1981.

Questions 67 and 68

Speaking of music, if an NHL Stanley Cup playoff game is played and no one sees it on TV, was the game really played? Alas, who is still alive in the NHL playoffs? The GMB likes hockey, but the national media is all in on the NBA.

Why should lawyers have all the fun?

This part left blank on purpose.

The Over and Out

We are done. Nothing left to see here. See ya Monday (maybe), Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
