The Bristol Eastern volleyball team easily dispatched Platt Monday afternoon in 3 sets by scores of 25-12, 25-16, and 25-22.
Platt never really threatened throughout the match, as the Lancers, led by Hannah Webber’s 19 kills, dominated at the net. Lauren Bender also had a standout match with 13 kills, 3 aces and 2 assists. And Abby Jones again had a great floor game, dishing out 31 assists and serving 5 aces.
With their seventh consecutive victory, the Lancers now own a 7-1 record.
Platt drops to 2-4 with the loss. The Panthers were led by Emily Hart, who had 6 assists, 8 digs, and 4 aces. Isabella Dematteo chipped in with 15 digs for the Platt defense.
