The Community is invited to attend the Fall Festival Farmers Market on Saturday, November 20

The following press release was issued by the City of Bristol.

The City of Bristol invites the community to the Fall Festival Farmers Market scheduled for Saturday, November 20 from 10 am until 1 pm at Centre Square. Plan to attend to shop for all your Thanksgiving holiday needs along with enjoying the food trucks and free musical entertainment.

Santa and his Helper are also scheduled to make an appearance.

Vendors expected are Amazing Love Farm, offering healthy organic snacks; Better Baking by Beth, offering cakes, breads, and pies; Better Half Brewing; Café Real; Continuum Distillery, offering craft spirits; Eaton Farm; Family Roots Produce Market, offering unique fall fruits and vegetables; Firefly Hollow Brewing; Green Acres Farm, offering local beef; Gresczyk Farms; Nature View Farm; Oma’s Pride, offering organic pet food and treats; Perkins Pure Maple Sugar House, offering locally-made maple syrup and locally-made maple and chocolate treats; Rich Farm Ice Cream, offering ice cream treats, frozen pies, hot cocoa bombs, and warm cider; Ridgerunner Soap Company, offering organic soaps and candles; Tonn’s Orchard; Twin Pines Farm; and West’s Side Jerky.

Food trucks expected are Heavenly Smoke BBQ, Greenhouse Tavern Food Truck, and The Mana Palace, offering healthy smoothies.

“I look forward to carrying on the tradition of this Fall Festival Farmers Market, giving the community an opportunity to shop for the Thanksgiving holiday while supporting local farms and businesses,” stated Mayor Jeffrey Caggiano. “It’s important to hold events like this to showcase to the community the potential of a vibrant downtown as development continues at Centre Square.” 

“We invite the community to purchase all their Thanksgiving holiday dinner needs as well as to start their holiday shopping at this market,” stated Dawn Nielsen, City of Bristol Marketing & Public Relations Specialist. “This Fall Festival Farmers Market right before the Thanksgiving holiday has become a popular event since it began over three years ago and we are happy to bring it back again this year for the community to enjoy.”

In addition to being an authorized SNAP/EBT farmers market, the City of Bristol Farmers Market is recognized by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture as accepting payment vouchers from the Women, Infants, and Children Farmers Market Nutrition Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. All participating farms are certified by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture.
