Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services announces Rockin’ Out at Rockwell Summer Concert Series

he official lineup for their annual Rockin’ Out at Rockwell Summer Concert Series has been announced by the Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth & Community Services Department.

The concerts will be held weekly at the Rockwell Park Amphitheater on Tuesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eight local bands will be performing throughout the summer from June 20 to Aug. 15; however, there will not be a concert on Tuesday, July 4.

Fan favorites Cajun Ray and the Steamers, who played the main stage at the Rockwell Park Summer Festival last August, will be playing the first concert of the season on June 20. The Motown stylings of Soul Sound Revue will be returning for their second consecutive year in the summer concert series lineup on July 11.

The concert series organized by the West End Association will feature performers from a variety of musical genres including Pop, Latin, Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Country and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the family-friendly entertainment and food from local food trucks.

  • June 20 – Cajun Ray and the Steamers (Variety) 
  • June 27 – Radio Waves (Pop)
  • July 11 – Soul Sound Revue (Motown)
  • July 18 – Spirit Shaker (Rock)
  • July 25 – Sideways (Country)
  • Aug. 1 – Goza (Latin)
  • Aug. 8 – Shakedown (Grateful Dead Tribute Band)
  • Aug. 15 – Latanya Farrell (R&B)
