Carrier Construction purchases substantial properties from Bristol Hospital on and off Main Street

The Carrier Construction Inc., a local developer involved in several Bristol projects, has purchased 10 properties on and off Main Street between the railroad trestle and one of their own developments across from the Bristol Public Library.

The properties, totaling $940,000, were purchased from Bristol Hospital Inc of Bristol on Jan. 4. The same properties were purchased by Bristol Hospital from Webster bank in 2005 for $1,110,000.

The properties are as follows:

  • 12-15 Prospect St.
  • 222 Main St.
  • 233 Main St.
  • 35 Prospect St.
  • 236-240 Main St.
  • 3-9 Prospect St.
  • 19 Prospect St.
  • 23 Prospect St.
  • 29 Prospect St.
  • 26 Prospect St.

Carrier Construction has completed a 48-unit project on upper Main Street. A project that has yet to break ground includes 96 housing units with retail space and parking on North Main Street.
