Bakery on Maple celebrates 1st anniversary

Bakery on Maple celebrates its first year in business on May 24. The microbakery’s celebration began Saturday with free rainbow cupcakes to the first customers through the door and by having Heavenly Smoke BBQ Food Truck on the premises throughout the day.

Rockwell Park’s Splash Park jammed over the Weekend

The Bristol Park Department opened the splash park at Rockwell Park over the weekend because of the sultry temperatures. And the kids were there to really enjoy the water.


Aroma Joe’s opens on Farmington Avenue

Aroma Joe’s, one of the nation’s leading handcrafted beverage chains, announces their new location in Bristol, Connecticut, at 1235 Farmington Avenue. This 800 square foot drive-thru location features handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks, unique flavor infusions, signature AJ’s RUSH® Energy Drinks and all-day food options.

Aroma Joe’s first location in Connecticut opened recently in Bristol at 1235 Farmington Ave. A drive-thru, the quick service coffee spot features handcrafted coffee and espresso, unique flavor infusions, AJ’s RUSH Energy Drinks and all-day food options.

This new location is owned and operated by Mark MacGregor, Henry Laughlin and Clayton Prugh.

Aroma Joe’s is headquartered in South Portland, Maine, and now with 84 locations across Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The chain joins Dunkin’, Starbucks, Cafe Real, and Ivy’s Brewed Awakenings at Bristol Hospital.
