Joan Ann (Castiglione) Kelly, 78

Joan Ann (Castiglione) Kelly, 78, of Bristol, widow of Charles T. Kelly, III, died on Friday, Oct 6, at Amberwoods of Farmington.

Joan was born in Bristol on Jan. 11, 1945, and was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Philomena (Carmodo) Castiglione. A lifelong Bristol resident, she worked for D.R. Templeman in Plainville for 20 years. She was known to be a kind and generous woman. 

Joan leaves her beloved granddaughters: Heather and Mallory Madore her son: Ronald Madore, Jr.; stepchildren: Brian Kelly, Thomas Kelly, and Debbie LaPlant; step-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Friday, Oct. 13, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. followed by a prayer service at noon. Burial will be private. Please visit Joan’s memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
