The City of Bristol Department of Public Works has published the schedule for the Transfer Station, trash, recycling, and yard waste pick up during the upcoming Thanksgiving week.
Trash, recycling and yard waste collections that fall on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, will be collected on Friday, November 27th.
Collections that typically fall on Friday, will be picked up on Saturday, November 28.
There will be no leaf pick up on these days, however leaf collection will resume on Monday, November 30.
The Transfer station hours the week of Thanksgiving are as follows:
Thanksgiving Day-Closed
Friday, November 27 – 7:15am – 2:45pm
Saturday, November 28 – 7:30am-1:00pm
Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu, who is also the chair of the Public Works Board, also announced that the Yard Waste and Leaf bag collection has been extended through Friday, December 4.
Residents with Transfer Station passes may also bring their leaf bags directly to the transfer station should they miss the December 4 deadline
