Cooperation encouraged after incident at Huntington Woods

After a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Monday, Aug. 30, at the Huntington Woods apartments, residents were advised as a community in an email by the apartment management team to be more proactive and report these incidences.  

In the incident late last month, one woman was injured. There were no other injuries. Police said this was an isolated incident and no danger to the public, according to the email sent to all the residents.

The apartment management team are cooperating with the Bristol Police Department. Anyone with information about this incident can report it to the police by calling Det. Dauphinais at (860) 314-4566.

The Bristol Police Dept. offers a Community Watch Team Video Program where Bristol residents can register their personal surveillance equipment for police to have the option to view if necessary. Residents, who were willing, were advised to register theirs here:
