Bristol Republicans voted at almost 11 percent, Democrats at a little over 6 percent in Tuesday’s primary

Unofficial results from Tuesday’s presidential primary were low in Bristol as they were across the state, according to the Secretary of the State’s online election center.

In the Republican primary, Donald J. Trump received 684 votes or 84.13 percent of votes cast. In order of most to fewest, Nikki Haley received 69 votes or 8.49 percent; Uncommitted, 33 votes or 4.06 percent; Ron DeSantis, 23 votes or 2.83 percent and Ryan Binkley, 4 votes or .49 percent.

In the Democratic primary, Joe Biden received 613 votes or 81.30 percent of the votes cast. In order of most to least, Uncommitted received 92 votes or 12.20 percent; Marianne Williamson, 30 or 3.98 percent; Dean Phillips, 14 votes or 1.86 percent; and Cenk Uygur, 5 votes or .66 percent.

Statewide Republican candidates received the following: Trump, 34,744 votes or 77.87 percent; Haley, 6,230 or 13.96 percent; Uncommitted, 2,166 or 4.85 percent; DeSantis, 1,287 or 2.88 percent; and Binkley, 190 or .43 percent.

Democratic candidates statewide received the following: Biden 55,533 or 84.75 percent; Uncommitted, 7,617 or 11.62 percent; Williamson, 1,490 or 2.27 percent; Phillips, 577 or .88 percent; and Uygar, 310 or .47 percent.

There are 8,257 eligible Republican voters in Bristol, with in city votes totaling, 426; absentee ballots received, 22, of which were counted; and early ballots cast and counted, 53, for a turnout among Republicans of 10.58 percent.

There are 12,114 eligible Democratic votes in the city, with in city votes totaling, 759; absentee ballot received, 104, with 102 counted; and early votes cast, 109, with 107 counted, for a turnout among Democrats of 6.27 percent.

Voter turnout statewide among Republican voters was 9.48 percent, while statewide turnout among Democratic voters was 8.19 percent.
