Hanna Grabowski, 72

Hanna Grabowski, 72, of Plainville, passed away at home, surrounded by family, on April 18. She was born in Poland on March 1, 1952, daughter of the late Amelia (Dzieniszewska) Kulesza and Władysław Kulesza.

Hanna retired from IDEX Health and Science in 2018. During her retirement, she frequently spent time at the beach, something she had always enjoyed.

Hanna was a member of the Polish Rosary Society at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Bristol, where she was an active parishioner. She also was an active member of Haller Post in New Britain. She loved to travel with family and friends.

Hanna is survived by her sons Antoni Grabowski and his wife Elzbieta of Bristol and Wesley Grabowski and his wife Mariola of New Britain; her grandchildren Emily, Annette, Joseph and his wife Samantha, Michael, and Ethan, as well as by numerous extended family members and many friends. She was predeceased by her son Piotr Grabowski and daughter-in-law Joanna.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 25, at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday April 26, at 10 a.m. directly at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 510 West St., Bristol. The Polish Rosary Society will be saying a rosary for Hanna starting at 9:30 a.m. before the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
