St. Paul crushes Crosby, 22-0, behind combined no-hitter

St. Paul overpowered Crosby and won 22-0 in Waterbury yesterday afternoon. The three St. Paul pitchers — Dom Napoletano, Jack McDougall and Brian DeRosa — tossed a combined no hitter giving Napoletano his first varsity win, and McDougall his first varsity appearance.

On offense, Logan Rembish led the way going 3 for 3 with a triple, a double, five RBIs, and one run scored.

Also contributing were:

  • Jay DeRosa 3 for 4 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored
  • Nate Barrett 2 for 2 with a double, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored
  • Arden Polverari 2 for 2 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored
  • Keaton Kroll 1 for 2 with a double, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored
