The Ordinance Committee meets today in Meeting Room 1-1 in city hall at 5 p.m. Among old business to be discussed is the latest activity by the state legislature on street takeovers and an update on Covanta.

The following meetings originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, have been cancelled:

• Police Awards Committee, 9 a.m., canceled.
• Zoning Board of Appeals, 7 p.m., canceled.
