Theresa (Soprano) Miller, 88

Theresa (Soprano) Miller, 88, of Bristol, Conn., widow of Clifford L. Miller, died on Wednesday, June 7, at Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, Mass. Theresa was born in Providence, R.I. on Feb. 1, 1935, and was the youngest of the eight children born to Benedetto and Antonetta (Lepizzera) Soprano. She was raised in Cranston, R.I., before settling in Bristol to raise her family.

Theresa was a dedicated mother, real estate professional, and loved to read, paint, garden and spend time with family and friends.

Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband, Clifford of 68 years, and her son, Peter. She is survived by her five children: Janet Reynolds and husband, Steve of Lafayette, Colo.; Jennifer Sirigu and husband, Vincenzo of Bristol, Conn,; Christine Levesque and husband, Alan of Alexandria, Va.; Clifford Miller and wife, Lisa of Yarmouth, Mass.; and Michele Clifford and husband, Bruce of Chatham, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  

Calling hours will be at Funk Funeral Home, Bristol, Conn., on Friday, June 16, between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. A time of family sharing will commence at 11:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of a Catholic Mass at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, Bristol.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
