Florence S. Buttaro, 87

Florence S. Buttaro, 87, of Forestville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at home. She was the wife of the late Sebastian Buttaro.

Florence was born in Unionville in July 8, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (McCola) Satonick. She retired after 24 years, as a secretary with The Marlin-Rockwell Corp. Florence was a member of St. Matthew Church in Forestville.

Florence is survived by her daughter Lucy Freeman and her husband Gregory of Unionville, grandson Dylan Freeman of Unionville, sister Patricia Gorecki of Canton, sister-in-law Mary Satonick of Southington and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her infant sons Joseph Buttaro and Sebastian Buttaro, Jr., her sister Elizabeth LaRosa and her brother Joseph Satonick.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21, starting at 11 a.m. until a funeral home service will begin at 12 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave. Bristol. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave. Bristol, CT 06010.
