Gloria Jean (Cote) Bouchard, 75, of Bristol, beloved wife of Donald E. Bouchard, died on Monday, Aug. 1, at Water’s Edge, Middletown. Jean was born in Van Buren, Maine, on April 14, 1947, and was a daughter of the late Felix and Gladys (Sirois) Cote. She was a longtime Bristol resident where she worked for the Board of Education until retiring. Her hobbies included arts and crafts and she enjoyed making her own greeting cards. 

In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by three children: Jennifer Lishness and husband, Bryant of Bristol, Jessica Johns and husband, Mike of Martha’s Vineyard, and Jonathan Bouchard of Bristol; four brothers: Gilman, Donald, Roger, and Roland Cote; two sisters: Theresa Whitney and Joanne Thibodeau; three beloved grandchildren: Mason Lishness, and Josephine and Ginger Johns; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother: Robert Cote.
