Bristol police report shooting on Burlington Avenue Thursday night

Bristol police are investigating what they say was a targeted shooting on Thursday night.


Officers responded to the area of Burlington Avenue and Pardee Street at about 8 p.m. after dispatchers received multiple calls about shots being fired, according to the Bristol Police Department.


Police found several shell casings at the scene, but no one was struck by gunfire.

The shooting was described as a “targeted attack.” Police also said there is no known threat to the general public.
