Bristol police report- shots fired on Chestnut Street

On Friday, October 29, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Bristol patrol officers were dispatched to the area of 30 Chestnut Street for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located a parked car which appeared to have been struck by gunfire. No victims were located and no injuries have been reported. There is no immediate danger to the public.

The area has been cordoned off temporarily while the incident is being investigated and motorists are asked to avoid the area until the investigation is completed.
