Todd M. Collins, 53

Todd M. Collins, 53, of Bristol, died on Saturday, Sept. 2. Todd was born in Bristol on Aug. 7, 1970, and was a son of Louis Collins and Cynthia (Stark) Collins.  

A lifelong Bristol resident, he attended South Side School, Memorial Boulevard and Bristol Central High School. A great athlete, he played little league baseball at McCabe-Waters Little League and was a member of the undefeated freshman football team at Bristol Central. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, going to the beach and hanging out with his father. 

In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by siblings: Mark Collins, Ryan McPherson, Tommy Barkowski, and Robin Rosen; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, between 3 and 5 p.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will be private.
