Richard R. Bochan, 68

Richard R. Bochan, 68, passed away peacefully on Sept. 19, at St. Francis Hospital. Richard was born Aug. 31, 1955, in New Britain to Walter and Joan (Carlson) Bochan.

He graduated from Bristol Central High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Army. He went on to become a Machinist at Zurback Steel and later at Millard Metal in Southington until he retired. He was an avid history reader.

He is survived by his sisters: Carleen Bizier and Elaine Carpino (John); brother: Donald Bochan (Darcy); and nieces and nephews: Anjilee White, Wendy Peralta, Cory Lawrence, Kyle and Jordon Bochan, Joseph and Jennifer Carpino: and great-nieces and great-nephew: Paige White and Lucy Loundsberry, and Isabella and Brandon Peralta.

A visiting hour will be on Tuesday, Sept. 26, between 10 and 11 a.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol. A funeral home service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol.
