Bristol Democrats to hold open house at new headquarters

Congressman John Larson will be joining Bristol Democratic candidates at an open house at the recently opened Bristol Democratic headquarters in Bristol Plaza on Farmington Avenue, between 5 Below and The Dollar Tree. The open house is Thursday, Oct. 13 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

Larson will be joined by Greg Hahn, candidate for State Senate — 31st District, who is challenging Republican incumbent Henri Martin; Andrew Rasmussen-Tuller, candidate for State Representative — 77th District, who is challenging Republican incumbent Cara Pavalock-D’Amato; and Mary Fortier, candidate for State Representative — 79th District, who is running against Republican Jen Van Gorder.

Larson, the Democratic incumbent will be facing Republican Larry Lazor and Green Party candidate Mary L. Sanders.

Members of the public are encouraged to stop in and meet the candidates, have some pizza and refreshments, pick up candidate signs for the statewide and local candidates, fill out an absentee ballot application, and more.
