Kristine Bilodeau

Kristine (Libby) Bilodeau, 55, of Bristol, beloved wife of Paul J. Bilodeau, died on Saturday, April 9, at Bristol Hospital. Kris was born in Bristol on Aug. 3, 1966, and was one of two daughters of the late Phillip and Alice (Graham) Libby. She was raised in Plainville where she graduated from Plainville High School. 

She worked as a nail technician renting space at Shears Delight on Pine Street. Her real passion was art and she enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, and friend’s children just drawing for hours at a time or painting murals for local businesses or a child’s bedroom wall.  She also enjoyed spending time on their boat, fishing, and walking the beaches of Florida collecting every type of seashell.

In addition to her husband of 23 years, Kris is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Leslie and Don Baba of Plainville; her mother-in-law: Irene Bilodeau of Bristol; brother-in-law: Ronald Bilodeau and wife, Lisa of Winsted; sisters-in-law: Linda Clark and husband, Chris of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Annette Bilodeau and husband, Paul Forbes of Wolcott; and four nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Monday, April 18, between 5 and 8 p.m.
