BE Girls Soccer loses at E.O. Smith

Friday afternoon, the E.O. Smith soccer team improved its record to 3-0 on the year, surging to a 3-0 halftime lead and and coasting to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Lancers.

The scoring opened at the nine minute mark of the first half when Eastern accidentally knocked the ball into their own goal.

Eleven minutes later, Jillian Dingler scored off a broken play when the ball deflected off a BE defender to Dingler in an offsides position, who deposited it in the net for a 2-0 E.O. Smith lead.

Emma Noheimer scored the final two goals for Smith to run the lead to a comfortable 4-0.

Ciara Collins broke through for Bristol Eastern when she scored off an Emily Nelson corner kick.


Grace D’Amato made 5 saves for the Lancers, while Mira Mahmoud had 0 saves for E.O. Smith, as most of the action was on the Lancer side of the field.

Eastern’s record is now 0-3.
