U11 Girls Bristol Soccer Club falls to Oakwood’s ECNL team this weekend but goes 3-1 overall

By Michael Letendre

This past weekend, the U11 Bristol Soccer Club Girls squad played in the championship game of the Oakwood Premier Invitational.

And the program from the Mum City battled throughout, dropping a tough 4-2 loss in the title tilt against Oakwood’s ECNL team.

Bristol went 3-1 overall, carrying a victory over that same Oakland program along with triumphs against Oakwood 2013 elite team and the 2012 Boston Bolts Elite.

For the Bristol contingent, keeper Alyssa Robidoux played extremely well in the goal while the duo of Maddy Ciminera and Mikayla Memmott were tough on the defensive end for the Strikers.

Bristol’s Natalia Assis led the offensive attack while teammates Ella Gokey and Laney Connor also scored along the way.
