BRISTOL – Friday was another satisfying day for the Bristol swimming & diving co-op as the program turned away Plainville by a 96-78 final from the Dennis Malone Aquatic Center on Mix Street in Bristol.

The Bristol Central/Bristol Eastern/St. Paul Catholic grouping had a number of first place finishers up and down the line-up.

But the highlight of the meet came in the 50 freestyle event in which Bristol made a clean sweep.

David Kroll, Aidan Collins, and Miles Jennings took the top three spots over a very impressive 50 freestyle finish.

Colton Litwinczyk (100 butterfly, 200 freestyle) won two events as did Gabe Bartolome (200 IM, 100 breaststroke) with his breaststroke time a career-best.

Kroll also earned first place in the 500 freestyle with his best time, Mikel Palaj won the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke, and Chris Fiorillo took first in the diving event.

The Bristol squad also won the 200 medley relay as the grouping of Kroll, Aidan Collins, Ryleigh Dionne, and Noah Taylor was victorious while the 200 freestyle relay team of Bartolome, Litwinczyk, Palaj, and Kroll took first place as well.

And in the 400 freestyle relay, the foursome of Litwinczyk, Taylor, Palaj, and Bartolome earned a first place nod.

Other best times from Bristol were scored by Konrad Truszkowski (200 free and 100 free), Ryleigh Dionne (200 IM and 100 back), Lebron Foster (50 free), Joseph Niek (50 free) and Miles Jennings (50 and 500 free).
