Flags at half-staff today to remember Sandy Hook victims

Governor Ned Lamont has announced that he is directing U.S. and State of Connecticut flags to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset today, December 14, 2022, in remembrance of the twenty children and six adults who were killed ten years ago in the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

This is the ten year anniversary of the tragedy. In November of this year, the Sandy Hook Memorial opened to honor the victims of tragedy.
