Good morning, Bristol!

Photo | Staff

Hi-de-ho, Bristol. The general consensus of the GMB staff is that the weekend went way too fast. As a result, we are checking the receipts to make sure we were not short changed.

Weather

80s, scattered showers, sticky. Yuck.

Pothole Patrol

The road erosion continues. Sunday morning, a sleepy-eyed PHP came across this on Bellevue Avenue/Queen Street/Federal Hill.

A city mourns

Dunkin Donuts, Rt. 6 near Mix Street.

Not to worry, Oct. 2 it is reanimated.

Speaking of sad and depressing news

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we report that the regular meeting of Bristol Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission scheduled for Monday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. is canceled. The memories of the Aug. 8 meeting will live on and help us during our collective time of need.

Closing the gap

Our work is done so let’s meet back here tomorrow. Drive at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions, Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
