St. Paul girls outlast Watertown Tuesday night, 61-54, to improve to 12-5

Watertown travelled to Bristol on Tuesday night and never gave up the fight before falling to St. Paul, 61-54.

The Falcons led throughout the contest but were never able to deliver the knock-out blow, finally repelling a fourth quarter Watertown rally to secure the victory.

Rebecca Kelly led St. Paul with a 17 point performance, while Audrey Tice and Kelsea Tefoe each totaled 12 and Haileigh Orzel chipped in with 9.

Watertown’s Ariellys Velez was nearly unstoppable for the visitors with 25.

The Falcons improved to 12-5 with the win and travel to Derby on Friday for a 6:00 start time.
