Bristol police to ramp up “Click it or Ticket” enforcement for the Thanksgiving holiday

The Bristol Police Department has issued the following press release:

With the Thanksgiving Weekend quickly approaching, Connecticut’s law enforcement agencies intend to promote safe driving and increase the protection of all. The Bristol Police Department will be enforcing the State Occupant Safety Laws and issuing citations to those who are unbuckled.

The current fine for failing to fasten your safety belt is $92.00. If you are under 18, the fine amount is $120.00.

The Bristol Police Department and surrounding agencies wants each and every person to arrive to Thanksgiving Dinner safe and sound:
