Bristol Central boys run win streak to seven with 3-1 decision over Maloney

The BC boys soccer team continued their impressive season with a 3-1 victory over Maloney on Thursday in a home contest.

Charlie Pittman achieved a hat trick for BC with a 3 goal effort.

Assists went to Tyler D’Agostino, Mark Palma, and Beckett Hennessey.

Midway through the second half, with the score only 2-0, D’Agostino made a sliding save to clear the ball off the goal line to preserve the 2 goal lead.

Shortly after that, Pittman scored his final tally to put the game away.

Maloney scored their goal in the last minute when the game was well in hand. Despite giving up the goal, it was another solid defensive performance by the Rams that limited Maloney’s chances.

Central’s midfield and forwards moved the ball around well and there were many great passing combinations that led to multiple scoring opportunities.

The victory was Central’s 7th in a row to improve to 8-1-2 on the season.

BC’s next game is Tuesday, 10/26 at Lewis Mills.
