Raymond A. Kozaryn

Raymond A. Kozaryn, 52 of Bristol, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, after a brief illness. He was born on Feb. 27, 1969, in Hartford, Conn., the son of the late Alexander and Martha (Pulver) Kozaryn.

He graduated from Bristol Central High School and attended the Denver Automotive and Diesel College. After graduation, Ray returned to Bristol where he worked for Sears doing small engine repairs. Ray went on to open his own business, Start Right Power Equipment, which he had run for the past 26 years.

Ray was a kind soul with a big heart who will be missed by many. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, farming, hiking and the Amish Country. Ray looked forward to retiring and becoming a full-time farmer.

Ray is survived by his brother: Todd and wife Jamie Kozaryn of Newington; his sister: Kelli Kozaryn of Newington; his long-time girlfriend: Lisa Leger of Bristol; and extended relatives and friends.
