St. Paul girls improve to 2-0 with easy 46-22 victory over Ansonia

The St. Paul girls basketball team clamped down on defense against Ansonia, limiting their opponent to 22 points for the game, en route to a low scoring 46-22 verdict on Tuesday night.

The Falcons pulled away in the second quarter, holding Ansonia to two points in the period.

St. Paul was led by Audrey Tice with 17 points scored, including three treys. Rebecca Kelly and Kelsea Tefoe chipped in on offense with seven and six points respectively.

The Falcons, now 2-0 on the season, will next host Torrington Friday night at 7:00.
