Rosanne earned an Associates Degree from Briarwood College. She also worked for the American Red Cross, Appletown Realty, and retired from The Hartford Insurance Company after 17 years. Rosanne was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and was always their number one fan. She was a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan and also enjoyed the Yankees and watching UConn basketball.

In her free time, she enjoyed many things, including painting and sewing, and is known for her beautiful quilts. Most of all, Rosanne enjoyed traveling with her husband Bob and their friends. Some of her best memories were from her trips to Hawaii, Europe and traveling the Caribbean. Rosanne was a huge fan of the Rolling Stones which she was fortunate to see live twice. She was also an active member of the Bristol Senior Center, where she made many friends and will miss dearly. Rosanne was also a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Bristol.

In addition to her husband, Bob, of 47 years, Rosanne leaves her three children: Kevin of Bristol, Erin Carlson and husband, Eric of Bristol, and Kathryn Cretella and husband, Barrett of Bristol. Rosanne was a devoted grandmother to her wonderful grandchildren: Kyle, Jillian, Brianna, Hannah, Riley, Leah, Kayla, Mason and Nathan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Last but not least she leaves behind her precious rescue dog, Frankie.

The family would like to thank her medical team at UConn Health Center who provided outstanding support and care during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St., Bristol. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
